The Snow Squad · Founding 100

Snow money starts now.

The Snow Squad forms before the first flake: one hundred founding Taskers, each interviewed and approved by the founder himself. Yard and washing work pays today; snow drops in November. Get in while it’s warm.

Keep about 80% of every job · 100% of tips · money in escrow before you start

The math, out loud.

No lead fees, no subscriptions, nothing up front. You keep about 80% of every job and 100% of every tip. Here’s what winter pays, per visit:

JobPoster paysYou keep
Single driveway$49~$39
Double driveway$69~$55
Full property$95~$76

Four singles before a 9 AM class is roughly $150 in your account, plus tips. Typical when it snows, never promised; the sky sets the schedule, not us.

How the Squad works.

1

Apply, then talk to a human

Five minutes on your phone, then a 15-minute video call with Mohit, the founder. A conversation, not a quiz. Pass it and you’re in the founding hundred.

2

It snows, jobs drop

Storm mornings, driveways post near you with the price attached. Take what fits before class, skip what doesn’t. No boss, no route you didn’t choose.

3

Paid, not chased

The poster’s money is in escrow before you lift a shovel. They confirm it’s done, it lands in your account. Nobody ghosts you on an e-transfer.

You’ve seen the other offers.

Lead-gen apps charge you for the phone number, job or no job.

You pay nothing until you get paid. 20% comes off a job you actually did.

Snow companies hand you a 4 AM route someone else picked.

You see the job, the address and the price, and choose. Exam week is yours.

Cash deals end with "I’ll e-transfer you later."

The money is in escrow before you start. Later doesn’t exist here.

Most winter work assumes you have a car.

Driveways cluster. Pick a patch you can walk, or split a street with a friend.

Crews welcome

Don’t shovel alone.

Apply with a friend, interview together, split a street on storm mornings. Two shovels finish a driveway in half the time, and the founding hundred fills faster than you think. Send this to the group chat:

Snow is the door, not the ceiling.

Founding Taskers keep their cohort standing for good. The reviews you earn on driveways are the same reviews that sell your next thing.

Now

Rake, mow, pressure wash. The Squad works while it waits for snow.

First snow

Storm mornings pay. Your patch, your schedule, per visit.

January

Assembly, moving help, errands. Winter money without the weather.

After that

Whatever you’re actually good at. Design, tutoring, cooking, code. The profile you build shoveling carries over.

Questions, answered

Do I need equipment or experience?

A shovel and boots for snow, a rake for fall. A blower helps but isn’t required. Nobody asks for a resume; the founder interview is a conversation about who you are and what you can do.

How and when do I get paid?

The poster’s money goes into escrow before you start. When they confirm the job’s done, your share (about 80%, plus 100% of any tip) pays out to your bank through Stripe.

Do I need a car?

No. Driveways cluster, so you can pick a patch you can walk. Plenty of founding Taskers will work their own street and the two next to it.

Am I an employee?

No. Taskers are independent: you see every job, its price and its address before you take it, and skipping one never counts against you. If you’re on a study permit, check your permit’s work conditions before applying.

What does joining cost?

Nothing. The usual $5 identity-verification fee is waived for the founding cohort, and there are no lead fees ever. Taskly takes 20% of a completed job, so we only earn when you do.

What if it doesn’t snow?

Then nobody’s shoveling and nobody’s paying for it; snow is per-visit, so there’s no contract to be stuck in on either side. Fall cleanup, assembly and indoor tasks run all winter regardless.

One hundred spots, counted honestly.

No fake countdown, no bot queue. When the founder has interviewed a hundred people, the founding cohort is closed. That’s the whole trick.
